Octagonal Sewing Box
In the form of knife boxes, tea caddies, work boxes, lap desks, ladies traveling boxes, and many more, boxes from simple country pieces to elaborately inlaid or painted masterpieces were produced in surprising numbers. Our growing collection of boxes represents some of the most elegant forms, and can be used for jewelry or sewing, or as dressing boxes. They make excellent gifts.
